THE TEAM
They develop the creative digital strategy, responding to briefs with innovative digital campaign ideas and editorial concepts which are achievable in terms of build and budget.
THE ROLE
Working on specific sections of the site to improve functionality and aesthetic (e.g. working on email, Facebook, Twitter, mobile, apps and in store) and digital projects to improve the shopping experience
Develop strong user experience and create wireframes/layouts to illustrate the detail of customer journey, continually maintain awareness of customer behaviour to maximise sales online
Working with offline graphic designers to make sure all projects are integrated across all media. Maintain the look and feel and help to develop the brands digital style guide including screen layouts, colour palettes, interface elements, typography and iconography
Art direction of photographic shoots
Keeping up to date with digital innovations and competitors
Critically evaluate the creative process and help to allocate resource and develop junior and mid-weight designers
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design process through to completion
Technical knowledge of programs and platforms to instruct design decisions
Strong interest in fashion and digital
Proven experience in user interface design, preferably in a digital/ retail environment
Strong sense of typography and layout and good attention to detail
Awareness of good contemporary digital design
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Quicktime
Knowledge of the HTML process, structural site limitations and technical development needed to inform digital design
Ability to work quickly and on many projects at once, changing priorities if necessary
Ability to show initiative and enthusiasm for constantly improving the content of the site
