等待的状态是我们每个人时时刻刻都要面对的。它可以是简单随便的，可以是千钧一发的，可以是煎熬难耐的，是激动不已或是痛苦不堪。我们乐观的去盼望着好的事情，我们偶尔难挡悲观思想偷偷溜入脑海而胸口发闷。尽管我们的人性总是暴露在一瞬间，但长久的等待却是渲染雕琢这人性的剧作家。

"When we first got together, we thought we were going to do Waiting for Godot. But after a few meetings, instead of delving into the question of ‘Who or what is Godot?’, we found ourselves constantly asking: ‘What does it feel like to be waiting?’
Waiting is a part of everybody’s life. It can be a trivial affair; it can be a serious matter; it can be plain and tedious; it can be exciting or painful; we hope while we look forward to the good; we despair when we anticipate the terrible – although our life is defined by moments, it is often the lengthy periods of waiting that shape our character. In this play, we want to capture this state of uncertainty, this tug of war between faith and doubt; we want to examine humanity in a trying time; and ultimately, we want to seed that question we had about waiting into our audience’s mind, hoping it would root and multiply into a plenitude of ‘what’s, ‘why’s and ‘how’s.
The stories we chose to present are stories of struggle and protest. In them are individuals who faced tangible forces, such as during World War II and June Fourth Incident, as well as those who were up against much more vague entities like contemporary life. They were waiting for an end, an answer, a solution, a purpose… And we, are waiting for your reactions."
